New Jersey After 3 helps your child learn new skills and improve their knowledge and confidence in the subjects they tackle each day in school. Children complete homework alongside caring, knowledgeable staff so they can spend quality time with family in the evening!
Studies show that New Jersey After 3 kids enjoy school more and perform better in the classroom because of their New Jersey After 3 program.
2. Arts & Culture –
New Jersey After 3 programs offer chances to be creative, and practice valuable skills -- in painting, sculpture, dance, sewing, cooking -- and to learn about other cultures and their traditions.
3. Civic Engagement & Leadership –
New Jersey After 3 participants have opportunities to be a positive force in their community by organizing and leading meaningful service projects. New Jersey After 3 has one of the largest AmeriCorps programs in the state, with members leading service learning lessons & activities.
4. Life & Career Skills –
Every child needs dreams, realistic goals, and positive role models. New Jersey After 3 programs promote lifelong success by teaching practical skills kids will need in life, like handling money, and living on a budget. Programs also introduce kids to careers and professionals so kids understand why school and hard work is important to lifelong success.

New Jersey After 3 expands learning time, but it’s not just more of the same… Sports, health and fitness activities encourage physical activity and teach kids about how important nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices are to living a long, productive life.
